In this photograph Kilian Schoenberger enhances the blues and the yellows to make a contrast of warm and cool. The smoke makes the area seem like a hot spring, but then the cold blue water and the surrounding ice makes it seem like a frozen body of water. The photographer may have made the blues and yellow/oranges brighter to make the pictures color compliments pop out. By making the color compliments pop out you get that contrast of feeling cold and warm at the same time.

Project 1-Framing and Composition

Our project was to take pictures using framing and composition techniques. I shot most of my photos with a wide angle lens attached to my phone camera. I choose most of the photos based on mood, I generally like a calming or happy feeling to be displayed in my photographs. I edited most of the photos (there are a couple untouched photos) with Lightroom. When I was editing I used majority saturation and desaturation techniques.
